Bird houses

Intro: ..and God created the Earth and saw it was good.

Experience: Thoughts…

Summer is approaching and I love having a good breakfast watching how the birds are enjoying their houses.

All of them are made from scratch, cork, plywood, oak, pine and a couple of screws.

You may think they don’t deserve to be photographed, but consider they are all built in a couple of minutes, say, 5 to ten minutes each, and only assembled with the left overs of other bigger projects, a bech, some tables or adirondacks.

No more words. Here you are some of the houses and their inhabitants.

Jesús, let me see that it was good, that we are too.

Christmas table settings and decorations

These are napkin rings to decorate the Christmas season tables, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day along with Boxing Day. It was one of my wife’s ideas, strips of red checked cloth, surrounding the napkins and with a pine cone holding from it with a red cord sawn to the cloth. Easy and effective apart from being quite a great idea. Cheers for her…I love my wife, happy wife…happy life.

Pine cone Crafts

These are some of the pine cone ornaments my wife and me did last summer. Sorry for the lack of howto, but it’s quite self exclanatory, just some log slices using a chainsaw, some pine cones, selected, washed, painted and glued pine cones  using wood glue.

Here they are:

This one is a napkin holder.
